Scott Anthony is president of Innosight, LLC, an innovation-based consulting and executive training firm focused on helping companies and institutions innovate for new growth and transformation. Scott has worked with Fortune 500 companies in industries such as media, consumer products, investment banking, healthcare, transportation and communications equipment. Scott is the co-author (with Harvard Professor Clayton Christensen) of “Seeing What’s Next: Using the Theories of Innovation to Predict Industry Change” (HBP, 2004) and the “The Innovator’s Guide to Growth” (HBP, 2008), which describes how to build new growth businesses. In 2009, his book “The Silver Lining: An Innovation Playbook for Uncertain Times” (HBP, 2009) will be released.
Scott has written articles published in the Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, Advertising Age and PressTime. He also serves as co-editor of Strategy & Innovation, a bimonthly newsletter published by Innosight, and writes the “Innovation Insights” blog for Harvard Business Online.
Prior to joining Innosight, Scott was a senior researcher with Christensen, managing a group that worked to further Christensen’s research on innovation. Previously, Scott worked as a consultant for McKinsey & Co., a strategic planner for Aspen Technology and a product manager for WorldSpace Corporation.
