Jason Hwang, M.D. is executive director of Healthcare at Innosight Institute, a social sector think tank he co-founded with Harvard Professor Clayton Christensen. An internal medicine physician and former chief resident at the University of California, Irvine, Jason has received multiple recognitions for his clinical work. Previously, Jason was a Harvard Business School Fellow at Innosight, Clayton Christensen’s innovation consulting firm, and he has also worked with the Health Horizons Program at the Institute for the Future, a forecasting think tank. Jason received his doctorate from the University of Michigan, residency training at the University of California, Irvine, and his masters of business administration from Harvard Business School. In January 2009, Jason, Christensen and Jerome Grossman, M.D. will release “The Innovator’s Prescription: A Disruptive Solution for Health Care” (McGraw-Hill, 2009), which offers a look at America’s healthcare system through the lens of disruption.
